Types of Coils in a Deep Freezer:
  1. Evaporator Coil (Cold Side):

    • Purpose: Absorbs heat from the internal space of the freezer.

    • Material: Usually made of aluminum or copper for better thermal conductivity.

    • Design: May be finned to increase surface area and heat exchange efficiency.

    • Location: Located inside the freezer cabinet, often embedded in the inner walls or placed behind a panel.

  2. Condenser Coil (Hot Side):

    • Location: Positioned outside the freezer cabinet, usually at the back or underneath the unit.

�� Working Principle:
  1. Refrigerant enters the evaporator coil in a low-pressure, cold liquid state.

  2. It absorbs heat from the freezer's internal space and evaporates into gas.

  3. The refrigerant gas travels to the compressor, which increases its pressure.

  4. The high-pressure gas passes through the condenser coil, where it releases heat and condenses back into liquid.

  5. The cycle repeats, keeping the freezer interior at a very low temperature.
